Legal Notices

Mosquito control agencies in New Jersey are required by law to notify the public for certain operations.  Copies of these notices are provided here for your convenience.

• Area-Wide Application Notice

  • This notice is regularly posted in the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal during the mosquito season to notify Hudson County residents of our adulticide applications.

• Municipal Notice
  • This packet is provided to all municipalities.  It contains our Area-Wide Application Notice and pesticide fact sheets for the products used in our adulticide applications.

Helicopter Application Sites

The following documents list the areas that we treat from the air to control mosquito larvae.  These areas are treated when mosquito larvae are present.  The sites are treated with either VectoBac or VectoLex (see the Pesticide Information page for more information on these pesticides).

Adult Spray Sites

Adulticide applications are only made when necessary, not on a routine basis.  Therefore, we cannot predict where we will be applying adulticides.  Check our homepage for the latest adulticide notices.  Adulticide applications are made with Scourge (see the Pesticide Information page for more information on this pesticide).
